Midwife Sharon Heidelbach
Ever since I was little, I wanted a profession that would give me the opportunity to encourage and support people. In my work as midwife this dream has come true.
It is my aim to strengthen and encourage pregnant women and expectant families through individual consultation and support.
To me, an atmosphere of comfort and safety as well as self-determination matters, in which young families can take their first steps of growing together.
Career Path:
I was born and raised in a small town in Sachsen-Anhalt. After passing my A levels, I spend 1,5 years in English speaking countries.
From 2014-2018, I studied midwifery at Hochschule für Gesundheit (HSG) in Bochum, resulting in my Exam of Midwifery and my Bachelor of Science degree.
Until April 2022, I worked as midwife in a hospital with a department of paediatrics. In addition, from July 2021 I worked as freelance midwife in antenatal and postnatal care.
Since May 2022, I exclusively work as freelance midwife in cooperation with the collaborative practice “Kleine Perle”.
I hold a certificate in kinesio taping and I provide antenatal and postnatal services in English if required.
